  • The jpg, will have a white box that will surround the image and the box will appear as white over any other color.
  • The png, displays only the main image itself, which in this case is circular, nothing outside of the circle will appear on projects.

Problem: In most cases this happens, when a smaller size image is rescaled to a larger size.

Solution: Use a larger sized image for your project.

Problem: This usually is caused by the designer attempting to resize the image.

Solution: In most programs, when resizing an image. users can hold down the shift-key and then click to resize. (note: never go smaller size to large, image may distort, Larger sizes can be resized down to fit project)

Problem: jpg image file is used on a different color background. the white containing box will appear. TWO Solution: using a png image file  to drop onto project will show no white containing box.
