Typographic Families

When used correctly and consistently, typography unifies the appearance of marketing communications.
Based on readability and versatility, The Source Sans type family was selected as the primary sans-serif typographic family.
Within The Source Sans family, the preferred fonts include The Source Sans Semi Light and The Sans Semi Bold.
Some designs will require the use of additional fonts within The Source Sans system. Care must be taken to understand when to move outside the two weights mentioned above.
And when special projects require a decorative font present the requested font combination to the marketing committee for review, as some letter combinations can be problematic and inconsistent with the visual identity of SKC.

When using either the “BISON” text or the BisonLogo, there MUST be a representation of the College. example, if the text BISON is used in all caps, the image of BisonLogo must be included, and visa versa.
